Pastor Abraham Adeniji
Pastor in Charge of Prayer MinistryPastor Abraham Adeniji, A man of great humility, leads the prayer ministry of RCCG North America. A very down-to-earth individual, Pastor Abraham Funso Adeniji lived in Ghana, West Africa for the first thirteen years of his life and has visited many countries in Africa, Europe and America – an experience that has helped to develop his delightful human relations. He is well educated and attained a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering and Masters Degree in Transport Studies.
Prior to his calling into the ministry, he had worked as a Quality Management Superintendent at Peugeot Automobile Nigeria Limited, a Workshop Manager at UTC Motors and as a Safety and Environmental Superintendent at ELF Petroleum (now Total Oil). He responded faithfully to God’s calling in August 2001 and resigned from Total Oil for full time ministry work.
Pastor Adeniji was a part time pastor in Nigeria, Africa before was assigned to the Montreal, Canada ministry in November, 2001 where he pioneered the commencement of two RCCG churches, and worked as both the Pastor-In-Charge and as the Area Pastor of RCCG, Overcomers Chapel, Ottawa, Canada. On September 1, 2002, he was assigned to the RCCG, Winners’ Chapel, Detroit as the Pastor-In-Charge.
Pastor Abraham is happily married to the lovely Pastor Susan and they are blessed with three wonderful children: Oba, Ade and Eri. From the breaking of the yoke of barrenness in marriages to the healing and deliverance from every form of oppression, God has tremendously helped Pastor Adeniji in the ministry.
